  • WHAT'S A TYPICAL DAY LIKE AT CAMP? WHAT KINDS OF ACTIVITIES WILL MY CHILD BE WORKING ON? DO YOU GO TO THE BEACH? DOES CAMP INCLUDE SWIMMING?
Please visit What to Expect for a sample day & detailed activities We typically do 1-2 beach days per week, if we do any at all. Paths & Pages is not super focused on swimming, but we always choose a beach with a state lifeguard (plus our trained staff) Sometimes the kids don’t want the beach at all & we stick to other nature spots for the week… it totally depends on the campers and what they’re most interested in doing each day Kids should be prepared to swim each day (bathing suit on underneath their clothes) because general water play is always an option during the summer when it's so hot. There are a few small watering holes, streams, creeks & waterfalls that we may visit or the occasional sprinkler or water balloon fight.
  • WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING TO CAMP? CAN MY CHILD BRING A CELL PHONE?
Please visit What to Bring for a packing list & list of prohibited items No screens. No exceptions.
  • WHAT IS THE BATHROOM SITUATION LIKE IN THE WILD?
Please encourage kids to use the bathroom before leaving for the park each morning We will have a second bathroom break between 9:45-10AM before we get in the van Bathrooms in the wild are trickier. Some locations have a designated spot, others are not equipped with formal facilities. Staff will support kids thru taking care of business appropriately in the wild (& provide all necessary supplies)
  • HOW DO I REGISTER MORE THAN ONE CAMPER? DO YOU OFFER A SIBLINGS DISCOUNT? HOW DO I SIGN-UP FOR MULTIPLE WEEKS?
You must register & pay for each child separately To make this easier, you may also email info@pathsandpages.org with your name, child's name & grade, phone number & which dates you would like & we can send you a customized invoice (if there are remaining seats) We offer a 10% siblings discount. Use code: SIBS when registering Siblings discount is for 2+ kids (per household) and cannot be used for unrelated kiddos

  • WHAT IF I CAN'T AFFORD THE COST OF CAMP?
We acknowledge all the choices you have when it comes to sending your child to summer camp & we trust you to make the best choices for your family. We purposefully serve ONLY one van of kids per week to create a truly unique & meaningful experience If your intention is childcare, other camps may be able provide a more flexible rate Specialty Summer Day Camp rounds out to be ~$25/hr per child (comparable to most babysitters in the area) We always try our best not to turn anyone away due to lack of funds, especially if you're a repeat client Please send an email to ashley@pathsandpages.org describing your financial hardship & we'll do our best to accommodate you
